On Monday January 19th, Ed Tech of WNY held an Ed Tech Day at the Boys & Girls Club of Springville. This was the second time we have helped this site.
This year we upgraded the previous computer lab we installed to new Windows 7 PCs. We also set up a shared printer in this lab. This has becoming their "gaming" and fun lab. We set up a secondary lab for homework and educational purposes. We ran cables from the wiring closet to the lab and installed 10 PCs and monitors, with a shared printer.
In addition to the lab upgrades we re-configured their WiFi so it was accessible throughout the building.
When we left the kids there were already jumping on the PCs and thrilled to have new equipment.
