Today’s laptop is yesterday’s chalkboard.  Imagine, if you dare, your child’s school not having the technology to teach.  Unfortunately, there are schools in WNY with just this unthinkable crisis.

IT associates at Integer's Clarence and Alden, NY, sites recently coordinated a donation of more than 55 laptops, 20 desktops and other gently used computer equipment to Ed Tech of WNY,

Holy Apostles Parish in Jamestown, NY moved into a new facility last year and it has been an exciting year in many ways.  There was one thing missing though...internet and a way to use it!  This is no longer a concern thanks to assistance through Ed Tech of WNY.  Holy Apostles Parish is now set up with laptops and is connected to the internet.  Students and teachers will now have training opportunities that weren't available before!

Ed Tech of WNY recently worked with Prince of Peace to set up a computer lab for the congregation.  This donation is now available for not only the youth there but also for the whole congregation to use!  Pastor Gabriel Gauthier expressed the church’s gratitude in a recent video on Facebook.  He stated “this is a lasting impact on the community”.

Our Lady of Black Rock (OLBR) school has been apart of ED Tech of WNY for many years.  In a recent interview with the school's principle, she calls Ed Tech of WNY "family".  Each year, the teams make an impact and help to expand technology in settings such as this school where it otherwise wouldn't be possible.  While students are home enjoying the summer, staff and the teams of Ed Tech of WNY are working hard to get computers set up for the start of the new school year.

As an all-volunteer organization based in Buffalo, NY, Ed Tech of Western New York seeks to enrich the lives of children by improving access to computer technology. They set up reliable networks, WiFi, computers, smart boards, servers and other technology for community centers, schools and non-profits.

Ed Tech of WNY continues to wire students and the community for success! On Tuesday, August 15, 2017, eleven schools and non-profit organizations will be the beneficiaries of the 14th Annual Ed Tech Day, bringing the total number of schools and organizations that have been assisted since 2003 to nearly 100!

Last week we installed and cabled 7 WAP’s at St. Gabriel in Elma, NY. Our volunteers tied in wiring & installed raceway for a port in the Religious Ed office.

Ed Tech of WNY has something to offer to the Western New York area that many places don’t have; the proper technology resources. Ed Tech of WNY is a group of volunteers working towards the common goal of providing technology resources to children across WNY.
