Last week we installed and cabled 7 WAP’s at St. Gabriel in Elma, NY. Our volunteers tied in wiring & installed raceway for a port in the Religious Ed office.

Ed Tech of WNY has something to offer to the Western New York area that many places don’t have; the proper technology resources. Ed Tech of WNY is a group of volunteers working towards the common goal of providing technology resources to children across WNY.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff of the University District Community Development Association, I thank you Ed Tech of WNY for the donation and installation of 12 desktop computers and an Ubiquiti WiFi access point for our computer lab in the Gloria Parks Community Center.

As a non-profit organization whose mission it is to help other non-profits with their technology needs supported solely by volunteers and donations we’re very big proponents of free or low cost stuff. But is free always the right way to go for your Tech needs? Our recommendation will probably surprise you here in that the answer to that question is maybe.

We are working at more than 12 sites this year for Ed Tech Day. Most will be worked at during Ed Tech Day on Tuesday August 16th.

This year, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, the Ed Tech of WNY is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving.

We are looking for a few new board members to help take Ed Tech of WNY to the next level! You do not need to be a techie.

Ed Tech Day 2015 is complete with us working at 16 sites this year, all over WNY. Thank you to our hard working volunteers.
